Training at Petris in London

Normal course hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm each day, but these can be discussed on the first day and adjusted to other times if more convenient.

Refreshments and lunch are provided each day. You will also be provided with training materials. Please feel free to bring along any example data sets you might want to use during the course. The most convenient way to bring these is on a USB device or CD.

Our training machines are connected to the Internet, and we can provide an Internet connection for your own computer if you need it.

The Petris London Office

The Petris London office is situated in Hendon, a mainly residential suburb approximately seven miles north west of central London.  The full address is:

Travel to the Office

The nearest underground station to the Petris office is Hendon Central, which is on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line.  The office is 10 to 15 minutes on foot from Hendon Central station.  The simplest route is via Wykeham Road and Brampton Grove, from where the office is directly ahead.

To help locate the office on your arrival, please note that it is at the junction of Brent Street and Victoria Road, opposite the Post Office.

Parking is available free of charge in the streets east of the office.  Parking is available on Brent Street for a charge, but is restricted to a limited time.  Parking in the streets west of the office is restricted to residents only during normal office hours.

Hotel Accommodation

We suggest the following two hotels in the area:

Hendon Hall

Hendon Hall Hotel is 800m from the office, so within easy walking distance.  The area around the hotel is mainly residential, with some restaurants a few minutes’ walk away.  It is 2km from Hendon Central underground station, for trains to Central London.  All rooms have air-conditioning and free high-speed wireless Internet access.

Hendon Hall dates back to the 11th century, with much of the main building constructed in the 16th Century.  The hotel was completely refurbished and re-opened in 2006.

Price: around £115 to £145 per night, including breakfast and taxes.

Premier Travel Inn

The Premier Travel Inn (formerly Holiday Inn until early 2006) is near to historic Hampstead village, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars, and Hampstead Heath.  It is 300m from Belsize Park underground station, which is four stops away from Hendon Central on the Northern Line, and within easy access of central London.  Rooms do not have air-conditioning and there is no Internet access available from anywhere in the hotel.

The hotel was built in the 1960s.

Price: around £90 to £130 per night, including breakfast and taxes.
