Well Potential Analysis
Petroleum engineers are constantly searching for ways to repair or improve the performance of all of their wells. A standard exercise, called a Well Potential Analysis, periodically calculates the producing potential of both new and old wells by using well data, well swabbing data, well fluid levels, and other information. Most of the information used in these analyses comes directly from the Operations Center database using data captured in routine well completion or well product operations. Well productivity estimates can be performed automatically with the click of the mouse because of the unique way that Operations Center exports certain well information directly into the Well Potential Analysis system.
