Property Master

PetrisWINDS Property Master™ is an Authoritative Data Solution for managing and storing information about key corporate long-lived E&P assets. Property Master is the central application that manages the master data for properties utilized in the drilling and production of hydrocarbons. Property Master is more than just a database to store corporate information; it automates the workflows around the data’s usage and provides services for effectively and easily managing data. Properties, in this case, are classified as:  

Assets – sources of hydrocarbons - e.g. wells, lease, pool / reservoir, zone, etc.
Equipment – physical hardware components - e.g. pump, compressor, drill bit, etc.
Facilities that handle hydrocarbons - e.g. pipelines, tank batteries, separators
Support Facilities – auxiliary facilities supporting operations - e.g. Roads, Rigs, Warehouse.

Traditionally, property data has not been effectively managed; instead it has been stored in multiple applications: each application storing only partial data as needed. This lack of management results in numerous issues related to finding and utilizing the data, such as the lack of a single place to find all data related to a specific property, data duplication and errors, lack of standardization in content and terminology and the inability to easily access historical data.

Property Master is the place to manage your company's property data using the architectural standards set by PPDM. Property Master can then be used to integrate with other applications requiring this data. The corporate repository enables automatic updates to/from other applications resulting in: 1) the elimination of data entry duplication 2) reduction in errors 3) improved efficiency. Property Master's flexible, fine-grained data model (based on PPDM) allows the easy implementation of corporate standards for content and terminology.
