PetrisWINDS Recall SUPERVIEW

PetrisWINDS Recall SUPERVIEW is a Windows and Unix Graphical User Interface which provides full access the the RECALL system and all its applications. It incorporates a Recall database browser and searcher, the JobEdit workflow editor, the  LOGSCAPE general purpose well log graphics program,  menu bars, the transfer bucket and a task monitor.

The "Desktop" permits the temporary storage of any items (jobs, templates, inquiry results or processing parameters etc.) that the user may wish to have on hand. These items may be placed on the Desktop by dragging and dropping and then subsequently used to set inquiry or parameter values.

JobEdit is a replacement for the previous workflow engine, REVIEW. It is backwards compatible with earlier versions of the REVIEW RESOURCE files and exported JOBs, thus preserving complex processing tasks set up under the previous interface.

Direct drag-and-drop is also available between all SUPERVIEW components. For example, a curve may be dragged from the Browser to the Logcsape icon to provide an instant view of the data. Being under data dictionary control, all the necessary plot defaults are set automatically.

Template launchers are provided for Well, Well Set and Log operations. Simply drag the required data to the selected template to perform routine processing operations. Special launchers are provided for more complex operations such as cross section plotting.

A variety of domain-specific menu bars are provided. These provide instant access to relevant stored Jobs and Templates.

The Transfer Bucket enables selections of data to be output using any of the standard Recall export modules.

Finally, a task monitor enables the viewing and controlling of all SUPERVIEW processes.
