PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE II
PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE II is a comprehensive dipmeter processing system, now firmly established as an industry standard. Under continuous development for many years, it is used by a large number of the major operating companies to process dipmeters from all major logging contractors.
PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE II Dipmeter Processing features:
- Three, four and six arm correlation modules
- Image creation from conventional dipmeter data
- ROTATE structural dip subtraction
- INTERPRET2 interactive dip rotation, analysis and statistics
- DISPLAY interactive dip interpretation and display
- Customized plotting
PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE processes dip data directly from the contractor's field acquisition tapes or from the contractor's computed results. A full accelerometer speed correction utility ensures accurate depth matching and velocity adjustment of raw data. PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE uses a constant interval least squares approach to automatic dipmeter correlation with all essential processing parameters under total user control. A correlation stacking algorithm provides an accurate summary of dominant dip trends over large intervals. To augment automatic computation, or for quality control purposes, correlations can also be picked visually over sections of interest. All dip data may be analyzed using directional statistics in the PetrisWINDS Recall INTERPRET 2 utility.
PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE is fully integrated with both the Recall database and PetrisWINDS Recall IMAGE borehole image processing system, thus enabling geological information derived from the dipmeter to be integrated with open hole logs, resistivity and acoustic image logs and core photographs.
