PetrisWINDS Recall IMAGE
PetrisWINDS Recall IMAGE provides interactive interpretation of structural and sedimentological attributes for micro-resistivity and acoustic borehole image logs. Quantitative image analysis is performed with a versatile display utility which supports the integration of any additional well log data, processed dipmeter results or core photographs.
PetrisWINDS Recall IMAGE processes resistivity, acoustic and azimuthal LWD image logs directly from the contractor's field acquisition tapes and enables features to be identified and oriented when possible. "Thresholding" enables relative percentages of rock volume to be determined for thin bed analyses, fracture classification or other feature recognition. Integration of core photographs assists in this process.
Utilities provided include a full accelerometer speed correction utility to ensure accurate depth matching and velocity adjustment, static or dynamic normalization, de-scratching and de-toothing. Images, including core photographs, may be depth matched relative to each other with unparalleled precision. Selective dip populations may be analyzed using directional statistics in the PetrisWINDS Recall INTERPRET 2 utility. Reports may include any data contained within the Recall database.
The system is fully compatible with the PetrisWINDS Recall INCLINE II dipmeter processing system and enables visual analysis and interpretation of structural and sedimentological attributes to be carried out in unprecedented detail.
