WELLSTAB-Plus – Wellbore-Stability Analysis Model

In directional and in underbalanced wells, borehole stability can be a critical problem. WELLSTAB-Plus uses a linear mechanical/chemical poro-elastic model to analyze stresses and stability in deviated wellbores. Two Linear Elastic Models with or without fluid flow are used to predict stability of the borehole and the range of stable borehole pressures or mud weights. Advanced graphical tools allow analyzing the impact of changes in critical parameters.
