New Programs in the Driller's Toolkit™ Suite

Petris' Wellplan is the latest component in the Driller's Toolkit™ suite of tools. This program combines two new programs for directional drilling: 1) 3D Survey Planning and Projection and 2) Torque and Drag. 3D planning and projection allows you to generate a well path by inputting surface and target points. The program will generate a 3D well path with azimuth changes. Graphical output with side and top views can be obtained. The survey can be saved and used in the Torque and Drag program for the Pocket PC allowing analysis of the well plan for potential hole problems in planning as well as while drilling.

Also included in Wellplan are wellbore stability calculations. These are based on the desktop version of the world-class program WELLSTAB. Safe mud weights and drilling envelopes can be generated using 3D well plans.

PPCLookup is a database program that contains complete look-up specifications for coiled tubing, drill pipe, and tubing. This program is designed to work with Wellplan for Pocket PC's. PPCLookup is now a part of the DTK Suite.

We have also developed an electronic Tally Sheet for Pocket PC's. This free program allows users to conveniently build an inventory or tally sheet for tubular products and downhole tools. It is designed to improve accuracy and save time and money for U.S. oil and gas operators.
