GALAXY Database

GALAXY is a Microsoft Access database that holds data common to Maurer software applications. Data can be automatically saved into and out of each application. This capability makes it easy to manage input files.

We can link our software with various database reporting systems. The latest data can be automatically fed into an application as needed, saving time and money. This also allows engineers to easily analyze offset wells in the planning phase, as well as perform post-well analyses. Expensive problems can thus be identified and more easily avoided.

Database linking is made possible with our Data Transfer Module. This module can transfer data from a well reporting database into GALAXY. As soon as data have been transferred to GALAXY, they are available to our applications. We can now link to several commercial databases. In addition, we can easily link to your company's database.
