strong demand and healthy prices for oil and
gas, our industry is seeing a level of

Petris Products for Subsurface Installations/Guided Horizontal Drilling
At the recent Underground Construction
Technology (UCT) Conference in Houston,
Petris showed a product suite designed to
assist companies with horizontal guided
drilling programs for planning the
installation of underground piping.
PetrisWINDS DrillPATH, DrillMUD and DrillEST
provide integrated capabilities covering
drill path trajectory design and pipe stress
calculations, drilling fluid usage and
critical flow parameters, and recommendations
and estimations.

Petris is making the news through a recent
article, “Dirt to the Desktop”, in the
February edition of Pipeline Oil and Gas Journal.
Petris’ Ray Dillahunty presented a paper at
the ESRI PUG entitled “Data Mining
OneCall Information using ESRI Tools.”
Pennwell’s Oil and Gas Journal
will feature a special 20 page
insert about Petris solutions, shrink-wrapped
with its March 26th issue – be sure to watch

Petris Sponsors Rice Business Plan Competition
Petris has recently joined the Rice Alliance
for Entrepreneurship. The Rice Alliance
supports entrepreneurs and early-stage
technology ventures in Houston and Texas
through education, collaboration, and
research. Petris will also be sponsoring the
UC Berkeley team at the Rice Business Plan
Competition this month; Petris’ David Archer
will be participating as a judge in the
competition.

Results from the fourth year of the Petris

Satisfaction Survey, where Petris asked its

rate their service, are very encouraging. The
vast
majority of those polled deemed their
interactions
with customer support to be 'very good' or
'good.'
